Protective Effects of Fenugreek on Glucose Homeostasis, Lipid Profile, and Immune Function
(Samarakoon etal., RJS, curretn issue: 16 (1): 16-29, June 2025)
The cover depicts whole fenugreek seeds soaked overnight in water-the traditional preparation that showed stronger effects than powder-soaked water in a Wistar rat model. The surrounding workflow, assays and mini-graphs represent reduced serum glucose, total cholesterol and triglycerides, improved lymphocyte response, and no apparent, toxic effects. Together, the image highlights the scientific validation of a traditional fenugreek remedy with antiglycaemic, antilipidaemic and immunomodulatory potential.
